Three Peaks Race... vacant crewing position

If you are interested in joining the team on Peccadillo, a Chris White 46 MkII catamaran, in this year’s 3 Peaks Race in Tasmania, there is a opening for a sailor due to an injury to one of the team. If you’re not familiar with the race, you can look it up on www.threepeaks.org.au. Peccadillo have a very fast running team and the boat has a good turn of speed in the right conditions, so should be pretty competitive. General Meeting details

Some details of the next Club meeting on Tuesday 24th March 8.00 pm at BELL’S HOTEL and BREWERY 157 Moray St. South Melbourne. (plenty of parking) Arrive an hour early to partake of the rather good meals and boutique beers available at this great venue, then adjourn to the very comfy function facility where we will be entertained by David Axup’s brilliant presentation on the “ History of Maritime Signal Flags”. Title sounds a bit dull ? You obviously haven’t yet seen David’s performance !! We will follow this up with a lively discussion on whodidwhatandwithwhichandtowhom at this years’ Geelong Week, WAFIR, MarleyPoint events – and the new forthcoming SOMR format.
