- A date of 7th August was set for the AGM at Blackrock Yacht Club. A formal notice will be posted in the Age and an Agenda and voting paper will be sent to all members. It will be followed by a guest speaker as usual. Please put this date in your diary and if you have ideas on the direction of our club, give consideration to possibly joining the committee...
- We have tentatively set the dates for SOMR 2008. We are proposing we follow the same format as this year which is the week immediately prior to Geelong week. A letter will be sent to all last years participants seeking ideas on how we can improve the regatta for this year. The provisional timetable would be
- Sat 19 January... Race 1 in afternoon
- Sun 20 January... Races 2 and 3
- Mon 21 January.. Races 4 and 5
- Tue 22 January... lay day for resails if needed
- Wed 23 January... Race 6 in Morning followed by Afternoon / Evening prizegiving
- Thu 24 January....Sail around to Martha's cove
- Fri 25 January......Geelong week commences with Martha to Melbourne race
- Sat 26 January.....Australia day passage race from Melbourne to Geelong
- Sun 27 and Mon 28... Geelong Regatta
